X pain-point guides
Step-by-step guides for the X problems that waste your time: lost tweets, spam replies, scam accounts, ad noise.
- Lost a tweet after refreshing X? Recover it with your view history
Open the extension's “Recently viewed” list — tweets you saw before refreshing stay on your machine and one click takes you back.
- How to filter blue-check spam, repeaters and engagement bait on X
Turn on comment dehydration: emoji walls, generic replies and repeated bait get folded, while author replies and long answers get highlighted.
- How to vet X KOLs and impersonator accounts in 30 seconds
Check community reviews and rename history, look at posting-behaviour health, then watch for impersonator warnings in replies — three steps to judge an account.
- The author deleted a tweet you saved? Read the local snapshot offline
When you save a tweet, the extension stores the full text, expanded links and images locally — readable even if the post is deleted or the account is banned.
- Check an X account's reputation: community reviews and tag spread
Search an account to see what people wrote, the top tags, the positive/negative split — plus an embeddable reputation badge.
- How to block porn spam and adult marketing accounts on X
Adult-spam accounts share a fingerprint: suggestive wording, lead-generation links, and low-follower high-posting accounts. The x-pro “clean pack” turns that into one rule you can import in a click, with an allow-list for false positives.
- How to spot and block AI comments and bot floods on X
AI comments and bot floods share three tells: templated wording, near-zero engagement, and many accounts posting the same text. x-pro flags that pattern and can fold a whole bot wave with a single “copy-paste swarm” rule.
- X sensitive content settings: why images and videos are hidden, and how to fix it
Once X marks a post as sensitive it hides the media behind a “Show more” button; the settings decide whether media is revealed by default. When an image or video shows only a placeholder it is usually the same switch or a lazy-loading hiccup. x-pro also fixes autoplay and reading comfort.
- How to reset your X For You feed (and just see the accounts you follow)
X has no “reset” button for a skewed For You feed, but “Not interested”, mute words and topic settings can steer it back. The x-pro “clean timeline” pack pins Following, folds promoted posts, and keeps de-noising rules scoped to the recommendation feed.
- x-pro extension settings list with stable anchors
This page lists the extension's main settings, each with a stable anchor (for example #xv-setting-冷静条) so documentation and AI answers can deep-link to the exact setting.
- How to hide retweets in X lists (and keep profiles readable)
X gives you no way to strip retweets out of a List, and profile tabs mix reposts into your own posts. x-pro hides the noisy accounts with filter rules stored on your device, and tags every post as original / repost / quote in the merged profile view.
- Why muting words on X still leaves posts in your feed
X matches the literal string you typed, in visible text only — so images, quotes, reposts and misspellings all slip through. Filter by structure (replies, reposts, engagement, country) instead of by a word list.
- How to hide someone's posts on X without unfollowing them
x-pro can hide one account locally, on this device, without unfollowing and without X's mute: no notification for the other person, one click to undo, and an optional expiry (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days) so it is not permanent by accident.
- X flagged your post as adult content and age verification failed: what to do (official routes only)
Official routes only: flag the content in X, file an appeal through the Help Center form, and retry the official age-verification flow. This page deliberately does not provide or link any way around age verification.
- X account suspended: how to appeal (evidence checklist and templates)
A suspension appeal is a short, factual case: what happened, why the content was fine, and proof. Prepare identity, ownership and originality evidence first, keep the letter under a page, and escalate only after the stated window has passed.
- Can you still make money on X? Creator payouts, real numbers, and three alternatives
X's payout program has a high bar, pays out quarterly, and swings wildly. What actually pays most creators is reputation off-platform: paid work, paid groups, consulting. x-pro's reviewer record turns in-site reputation into a verifiable work history.
- How to block ads and promoted posts on X from an iPhone (and other ways)
iOS cannot run Chrome extensions, but three routes remain: a Safari content blocker (domain and rule based), a filtering DNS (works device-wide), and moving your bookmarks and alerts elsewhere. Android users can just use the extension.
- How to mute Grok posts and Grok auto-replies on X
Turn on the AI-noise preset in x-pro.club: Grok's official account, Grok's auto-replies and AI-generated posts get folded away, and the rules only fire in the For You feed.
- How to see and remove promoted posts in the X timeline
Promoted posts get folded into a thin strip, and an ad meter tells you how many ads you swallowed today and this week.
- How to spot AI-generated image farm accounts on X
AI art farms share a fingerprint: image-only posts, one-line captions, almost no engagement. x-pro.club flags them and can fold them for you.
- Filter ads, affiliate links and hype trains out of your X timeline
Rules auto-fold affiliate links, ad copy and coordinated ticker hype — and you can scope them per workspace.
- Stop pushing Chinese and Turkish flame wars onto my home feed: how do I filter them?
Import the home-feed flame-war pack: Chinese and Turkish posts, and posts whose author location is China or Türkiye, fold out of For You. High-conflict posts also get a calm strip. Accounts you follow stay visible.
- Why Chinese search on X is unreliable, and queries you can paste
Long Chinese sentences often return nothing because tokenization is unreliable. Start with lang:zh, add two or three short words, and use -filter:replies to drop replies. The extension popup’s “中文高级搜索” opens a ready-made query. The search itself still runs on x.com.
- Is there a limit on X bookmarks? X’s folder and local saves are different
This page does not quote a number that would go stale. X’s own bookmark folder lives on their servers, so the limit is whatever your signed-in Bookmarks page says. x-pro.club saves stay on the device, and the extension does not hard-code a count.
- Can other people see my X bookmarks?
Someone opening your profile cannot see your X bookmark folder, and they cannot see the x-pro.club saves stored in this browser. If you send them an export file, that is you sharing it.
- How do I search my X bookmarks? A half-remembered line is enough locally
The popup’s “搜书签” searches saves you stored with x-pro.club: text, snapshot, author, notes, and tags. It does not search the bookmark folder on X’s servers.
- How do I export X bookmarks to Notion?
Extension settings → Bookmarks → “导出 Notion” downloads NDJSON. You post each line into your database with your own Notion token. The extension does not store the token and does not connect to Notion.
- Why muting words on X still leaves posts in your feed
X mute words only cover the post text X itself matches. For You can still recommend a new account, and wording that exists only as image text slips through. x-pro folds those posts on this device with a keyword rule that also reads image alt text. It does not change your mute list on X, and it does not unfollow anyone.
- How to hide someone's posts on X without unfollowing them
On the x-pro menu for a post, pick 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. That stores an author rule on this device with an expiry, and deletes the rule when the time is up. It does not unfollow them on X, and it does not write to X’s mute list.
