How to do it

1. Two native moves for the post in front of you — Tap “Not interested”, then use Share → “Add to muted words” for the keyword. Muted words live in Settings → Privacy and safety → Content you can see → Muted words.
2. Trim the topics too — “Recommended topics” cards in the feed can be muted from their menu, and topics you follow can be unfollowed — they feed different recommendation pools.
3. Turn on the clean timeline in one click — Extension settings → 内容过滤 → “一键清净时间线”: the Following view is pinned, promoted posts are folded, and the de-noising rules only apply to For You.
4. Switch to Following when you want the pure timeline — Pick the “Following” tab for a purely chronological view. With the pin setting on, this is the view X opens with.

How do I reset my X For You feed?

X has no reset. What works is “Not interested” plus muted words plus unfollowing topics — those change the recommendation pool. Logging out or clearing the cache only rerolls the feed, it does not reset anything.

Why does one like fill For You with the same topic?

The recommender treats a single interaction as a strong signal, especially early in a session. So “interact less” is not superstition: mute the content you do not want to engage with, and interact where you actually follow the account.

How do I only see the accounts I follow?

The “Following” tab is a purely chronological timeline. The x-pro clean timeline pins that view so X opens on it without you switching every time.

Will the de-noising rules hide accounts I follow?

No: x-pro rules have a scope, and the rules in the clean timeline apply to the recommendation feed only — Following and Latest are untouched.
