Is X down right now?

We do not declare a global X outage. What a failed search, a stuck notification badge, and Rate limit exceeded mean, plus anonymous extension samples of whether the timeline parsed.

The live sample is anonymous. It stores no account, no post, and no IP. One open tab is one sample. An empty hour means no sample, not that X is up.

Common errors

Is X down right now?

This page does not declare a global X outage. x-pro.club does not probe x.com from our servers: that would only describe our network. The numbers above are anonymous samples from the extension over the last hour: whether an open X tab found the timeline column, and whether the review read API answered. Fewer than 5 samples means we do not know. A high share of “page structure needs attention” means those tabs could not parse the timeline. That can be an X redesign, a page still loading, or a partial failure. It is not proof that X is down for everyone. If this site loads and x.com does not, the problem may be your network, X, or both.

Search is blank, stuck, or says Something went wrong?

Search runs on x.com. A blank page, results that never refresh, or “Something went wrong” is often limited to one account, one client (phone or web), or one feature. Try the Latest tab and see whether Explore loads. The extension does not replace X search. Chinese operators (lang:zh, min_faves, since/until) are in /docs/en/x-chinese-search-tips.

Notifications are missing, or the badge will not clear?

A notification badge that never clears is a long-running X client problem. This website cannot clear X’s server-side unread state. On x.com/notifications the extension uses X’s own controls to mark the items you can see as read, and it can fold similar items into one row. If that page itself says Something went wrong, X’s notifications request failed. That is not this site. The setting is described in /docs/en/settings.

What does Rate limit exceeded mean, and how long does it last?

Rate limit exceeded is X’s own message: this account or this client asked for something too often. X does not publish one wait time for the website. The error on the page is the authority. Waiting and trying again later is the recovery that does not need another tool. Do not install a third-party tool aimed at this message. Developer API rate-limit tables do not apply to that website message. A 429 from x-pro.club, with Retry-After, is this site’s limit, not X’s.

Does Something went wrong mean an outage?

That is X’s generic failure text. Search, notifications, and the timeline all use it when a request fails. Refresh once. When only one feature fails, it is often partial. If many extension samples in the same hour report a page-structure problem, the timeline markup may have changed, or X returned an error shell. That is still not a global outage notice.

Copy checked 2026-10-21. X does not publish a global status page. This article does not treat a third-party outage site as a verdict.
